I love my job

I love my job.
I love meeting new women every day, and helping them find modest clothing. I have met such nice women. Women who I feel connected to and have the same values as me. I love seeing them leave with beautiful dresses and swimsuits that are flattering to them and that don't compromise their standards. This is more rewarding than I thought it would be.
And it's always a bonus when someone comes over with a cute little girl for mine to play with:)
Just had to leave you with these thoughts today. No clothing post. Just my feelings.

So I have been totally slacking. Having 4 kids, part time job, along with volunteering and such...well lets just say my spring cleaning is not getting done, so this post is a fashion post in a way. Modest is Hottest Calgary is supporting a great cause and I want you to check it out.

New Designer...New Dresses

So there are sooo many cute new things I don't even know where to start. So I thought I would just give you a snippet about these new dresses we are carrying.
The designer is William Riera.
The dresses are gorgeous.
I thought I would just show you my 2 favourites.
The "peacock" one is called "Lily" and the "raspberry" coloured one is called "Camilla"
They are super comfortable, ultra soft, jersey dresses. They are made of viscose/spandex and are truly THE most comfortable dresses I have ever tried. They retail between $70-80. Such great quality and so beautiful. The colours are so vibrant. You really need to come over and try one on to see what I am talking about.
They range in sizes XS-XXL.
I have noticed they fit a size big, so if you are usually a medium, you would want to try a small.
So what are you waiting for?!

Half tees, No...not to be worn alone!!

You know what is priceless? The look on some women's faces when I show them the half tees. I have to quickly reassure them that we are not reverting back into the 80's style of half t-shirts. That just makes me wanna vomit for sure...
No ladies these new 1/2 tees are a wonderful idea. As much as we LOVE the wonder tee, there are just some times when you don't want all that extra bulk under your dress or shirt. They fit so nice and snug under your bust line that you don't ever have to keep pulling them down. Also when its hotter, you don't want all those extra layers. They are terrific if you are pregnant, because you can use them before,during, and after your pregnancy and you won't stretch them out.
But please, don't wear them alone....LOL
They come in all different colours. I make sure to have them in every size in black and white at least. They also come in grey, red, brown, pink, and cream.

You can buy them in cap sleeve, boyfriend sleeve, long sleeve, and tank style as seen in the pictures below.

$15 for the tank and cap, and $20 for the boyfriend and long sleeves.

The Wonderful Wonder Tee

Sorry I have been slacking.
I had to do a post about the most wonderful invention...the Wonder Tee
This is a perfect addition to every female's wardrobe. It comes in every size and many different colours. I always have a white and black and a few other colours. They even have a cap sleeve version for little girls sizes 2-10.
You can wear this for layering under blouses or other t-shirts and under dresses so they are not too low cut. Comfortable enough to sleep in too.
What about that really cute tank top you like or sleeveless dress you ask??
Wear you Wonder Tee underneath. It gives perfect coverage for all your modesty needs...lol
Comes in XS-XXL. 95% cotton, 5% spandex. Longer length so you aren't always pulling down your shirt.

Hot Swimsuits!!

Today I am blogging about my 2 favourite swimsuits. The swimsuit above is from Hapari and it is the "Sport" style top. These swimsuits are very good quality and a silky smooth material. They fit so nicely and cover up nicely as well. These tops are designed to be tied 3 different ways that will flatter you depending on your body shape. Check out the swimsuit photos on my facebook fanpage and they will show you how you can tie them.
These colours just remind me of the tropics and are very cheery. Even though black is flattering, it is so nice to see some colour in a swimsuit.
The photo below is the bowtie top from Diviine ModesTee or "Divinita Sole Swim" as they call their swim line. This is probably the most flattering swim top I have ever seen. If you are worried about your middle after having chidlren, this is the top for you. Even if you havent had children, this is such a cute suit!!
The ruching in the middle goes a long way. Everyone I have seen in this suit looks good! I would have to say it's the most comfortable one I have ever tried on. Great support for those of you who may be well endowed also.
So if you are going away somewhere warm soon or if you just need new swimwear, come on over and try some on. You can take as much time as you need. I know how swimsuit shopping is. I take hours trying on suits. We have bikini bottoms, boy shorts and these fabulous tummy tuck bottoms that suck you in so nice and comfortably as well if you are so inclined:)

Cross My Heart Top

This is such a pretty little thing. It is a short sleeve flutter wrap blouse, made of polyester chiffon. It is slightly sheer, so it definitely needs a wonder tee or cami underneath. It reminds me of spring on a cold Calgary winter day! Comes in XS-XXL
